Dotel didn’t pitch in 2014 after being limited to six appearances in 2013 due to elbow issues. Now 40, Dotel holds a major league record with appearances for thirteen different teams throughout his career. He retires with a 3.78 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 1,143/412 K/BB ratio over 951 career innings.
